Ethnic Community Services Agency (ECSA)
"To the constellation of
cultures that comprise a modest share of the universe
and the entire of our hearts"
ECSA advocates for equity of services to ethnic
communities because ethnic groups in
Santa Clara County continue to be underserved.
The
Ethnic Community Services Agency (ECSA) is a
collaboration of five member agencies that provide
mental health, behavioral health and social services
to low-income ethnic populations in Santa Clara
County. The member agencies are: Asian Americans
for Community Involvement (AACI), Mekong Community
Center (MCC), Gardner Family Care Corporation (GFCC),
Indian Health Center of Santa Clara Valley (IHC), and
Ujima Adult & Family Services (UAFS).
Collectively, these agencies serve Asian-Americans,
Latinos, Native Americans, and African Americans,
respectively. ECSA's target populations reflect
nearly half of Santa Clara County's total population
and 70% of the county's Medi-Cal clients.
