ECSA specializes in providing culturally proficient services.

We firmly believe that ECSA member agencies are at the vanguard of cultural proficiency. We have the talent pool, leadership, vision and the streamlined bureaucracy to be pioneers in refining established (and hence proven) models of care to the point where they are replicable. Instead of being passive participants we would like to be active developers. We want to design what works for our organizational structure, our clients and our community, instead of being told "make this work." We know what works, what hasn't worked was discarded years ago. We plan to take an empirical approach. We would like to establish the standards of "Best Practice" that our clients deserve.

Behavioral Health

We provide a wide range of behavioral health services. Our clients include children, adults, and elders; individuals, couples, families and groups. Whether clients are court-ordered, self referred, or find us through other means. We help them resolve issues from crisis to chronic problems. Our staff includes psychologists, social workers, psychiatrists, family therapist and case managers. Whether our clients are unemployed, CalWORKs parents, children with Attention Deficit Disorder or elders with clinical depression, we are here to respect traditional ways and serve the whole family.

Physical Health

Most ECSA agencies also provide primary care and preventative health services.

Community Health

We develop programs that allow the community to become more cohesive. We stress prevention care to stop issues from becoming problems.
