Biography
Dr. Alice Tsoi is a clinical psychologist and a licensed marriage and family therapist and has 20 years of experience in both mental health and chemical dependency recovery services. Dr. Tsoi has worked in private and public sectors and brings strong management and clinical skills, as well as personal refugee experience coming from Vietnam. Dr. Tsoi speaks Cantonese, Mandarin, Vietnamese, and English and understands the importance of cultural proficiency and the utilization of bilingual/bicultural staff in meeting the mental health needs of immigrants and refugees. Dr. Tsoi is the Vice President of the Behavioral Health Department for Asian Americans for Community Involvement. In this capacity, she oversees all mental health services, alcohol and drug recovery services, CalWORKS Behavioral Health Services, the Dual Diagnosis Program, and the Transitional Housing Unit.

In her spare time (as if she had any) Dr. Tsoi is busy raising her two young children, ages 7 and 9.
